Dear Friend,

Lately, it’s been hard to cope.

I need to look at life through a different scope.

It’s ironic how the road to misery is easy to find,

But the road to healing it seems to hide.

Gratifying my flesh wasn’t my initial aim.

I’ve learnt from the experience and hopefully I’ll never do the same.

Feeling sorry for myself won’t make things better.

Seeking God’s mercy right now is all that really matters.

I know now more than ever how much I really needed your prayers.

They have kept me in the light and elevated me from the sewers.

My gratitude can’t be expressed enough through this medium.

I pray it is a humble inauguration.

There is a lot more I wish to disclose

Words aren’t scarce so I will bring this letter to a close.
